The 100 watt transmitter has a very high specification and is more than a match in technical quality to any of the other professional broadcast transmitters on the market at much higher prices. By not including frills and other gimmicks that don't improve the sound quality or reliability, we can make this transmitter at a price that is affordable. This and the previous model have been on the market for over 20 years !! and have endured countries of the world with the worst environments and the hottest climates and worked great.

Stereo with Audio Processing Option

This is the most popular version because it includes everything in one enclosure. The audio processing keeps the audio level 'LOUD', but not too loud whereby it causes over deviation and contravenes your permit. The trick is to get the sound as loud as possible so you can compete with the other stations on the dial, but at the same time keeping your signal legal. This is a tricky balance to maintain, but this version in stereo with our internal audio processers does exactly this. More Information HERE.

12V and 48V DC Option

The regular version of this transmitter is 90 to 260V AC. However this is also available in 12V and 48V DC. To the best of our knowledge, in the entire world, Only We Make A 12V DC 100W FM Broadcasting Transmitter

Applications include mobile setups where only a car or vehicle battery is available. We have a perfect Magnetic Mount FM Antenna for mobile setups. Also fixed installations with connection to solar battery systems of 12V DC (and 48V DC)

VSWR Protection

This transmitter is FULLY PROTECTED and under severe load mismatch conditions (poor SWR, Return Loss) the amplifier will automatically foldback the power to a safe level to protect itself, the antenna and cables from damage. When the load becomes good, full power automatically restores. On the front panel is a neat little meter lit up with intense blue LED's to indicate forward and reflected power and a true frequency counter. The amplifier is fully protected from bad SWR and reflected power for any duration of time.

Temperature Protection

This unit is designed with high reliability in mind. The cooling system incorporates. Two 60 mm fans keep the heatsinks in this unit cool to touch by hand, even when we tested it in Spain in summer at ambient temperatures in excess of 40 deg C. To maintain long term RF Output reliability the linear power amplifier is fitted with a 150 watt Mosfet Device. Due to this design the 100 watt transmitter is capable of Non-Stop Operation anywhere in the world with high reliability.

The enclosure is made in strong 16 gauge steel, powder coated and baked in satin black. This leaves a tough, durable surface that will never rot or corrode and be cleaned to shine for decades. The front panel is 19 inch across and 2U (3.5 inch) high with a depth of 12 inches, so it will fit with ease into a standard rack. It is very strong and difficult to damage even under extreme handling.


When we test this unit we need to test it at some frequency, it's obviously better if we test it at the frequency you want to us it on, then you can use it straight out of the box on delivery. But if you don't know the frequency, that's okay, the frequency, FM deviation and power is easy to set in a few minutes on the underside panel controls.


The stereo version with audio processing and limiting meets all the regulatory standards required out of the box and pre configured. In fact if you send us a copy of your permit and it's conditions, we will set it up exactly to the specification.
