Clearly fill out the Name (Nombre), Contact, Postal Code, Country (Pais) and Phone section with your name, address, and phone number. Enter the Date (Fecha) with the date you plan to send. It's in Spanish to minimize any possibility of translation delays in the Dominican Republic customs.

Don't be alarmed that it only has a value for 100 USD for the goods, this is just to make entry easy without time consuming paper work and fees. If you want to put the actual value, if it's higher, that's okay and perfectly legal, but it will add management and clearing fees and many days to the whole process. So it's better just to keep it at 100 USD.

You need to prepare the parcel and documents.

1. Pack the goods in a box that is about 20% bigger than the equipment. If the box is any bigger than this the delivery will be expensive due to excessive volumetric weight. If the box is too small the equipment will have insufficient protection.
2. IMPORTANT! Make sure the corners are well packed with scrunched up pieces of old paper pushed tightly into the corners between the box and the equipment. Using your thumbs on the outside of the box, try pushing in the corners, if it is difficult and hard, it is packed correctly.

OPTION 2 - USING THE POSTAL SYSTEM ECONOMY, PRIORITY OR EMS

Sending goods via the postal service is the lowest cost way to return goods. Economy being the absolute cheapest service, Priority is the next service up and the best service with guaranteed delivery times is EMS. Usually Economy is only trackable in the event of the parcel being reported lost, Priority has a basic tracking process and EMS is fully trackable, do not return any goods on a service that cannot be tracked at all.

Economy, Priority and EMS use the label/form called CP72 which you can get from the post office, use this label/form. There will be a number on it beginning with CP that the parcel can be tracked with. Use the following address on the form/label and take the complete parcel to the post office.
