Selecting the Optimal Version for Your Broadcast Requirements.
Choosing the correct version of your FM Transmitter is crucial for operational efficiency and meeting your specific broadcast goals. We offer professionally engineered systems that cover 90% of customer requirements right out of the box, ensuring you get the exact functionality needed for your station.
These are the two primary, professional versions of our FM Transmitters:
◼ Stereo with RDS and Audio Processing Version
Ideal for: Any station prioritizing high audio quality, professional stereo separation, and dynamic Radio Data System (RDS) functionality for displaying station name, song titles, or slogans. This is the most feature-rich option for modern, professional broadcasting.
◼ MPX Version
Ideal for: Experienced engineers who handle external audio processing and stereo encoding outside the transmitter. This version accepts a pre-processed and encoded composite signal (MPX) for direct modulation, offering maximum control to the audio chain expert.
Need Customization?
We understand that custom requirements exist. If you need alternative versions (e.g., stereo only, no RDS, no processing), we can accommodate these requests to match your specific technical setup.
You will find detailed descriptions of both the Stereo/RDS and MPX versions, including how they work, technical specifications, and the final price INCLUDING delivery to your country, in the following sections.

Optimal Performance & Compliance: Why Choose This Version?
If you're seeking a transmitter that balances powerful broadcasting with strict legal compliance, this version is your definitive choice. It eliminates complexity for both new and experienced broadcasters.
• Beginner-Ready: The unit features automatic audio level adjustment, ensuring your 2000 watt transmitter always adheres to state regulator specifications. Start broadcasting legally and effortlessly.
• Professional-Grade: Ideal for experienced users who prioritize efficiency. It includes everything in one single enclosure, minimizing setup time and cable clutter.
Intelligent Audio Processing for Maximum Reach
Our internal audio processors are engineered to give you a competitive edge:
• The processing keeps the audio level LOUD—allowing your station to compete effectively with others on the dial.
• Crucially, it prevents over deviation, ensuring your powerful signal remains legal and compliant with all permit requirements.
• This version perfectly executes the delicate balance of maximum loudness while maintaining a legal signal.
The audio inputs industry standard 600 ohm +4 dBu balanced using XLR connectors.
In addition, this version INCLUDES RDS. This allows everybody to see your station name and more scrolling across the car radio display.
The RDS is not just ordinary RDS, it is fully programmable dynamic RDS. This means the transmitter can be connected to a PC by a USB cable. The RDS can be changed on the fly in real time by using USB PC CONTROL shown below.
Expert Integration: MPX Input for External Audio Processing
This feature is tailored for expert broadcasters who utilize external, high-performance audio processors to feed the MPX signal.
1. Zero-Tilt Baseband
• The baseband MPX audio input boasts virtually no tilt on the critical low bass frequencies.
• This perfect flatness is essential for optimal integration with professional multiband processors, including Orban, Inovonics, Stereo Tool, and Omnia.
2. Ultra-Stable PLL and VCO Technology
Superior low-frequency response is driven by cutting-edge technology:
• Slow PLL Loop: The Phase-Locked Loop (PLL) is extremely slow, maintaining low-frequency performance down to just a few Hertz—a critical requirement for high-end processors.
• Stable VCO: This stability is achieved using a Hartley loosely coupled Push-Pull Voltage Controlled Oscillator (VCO). It is so stable that it remains within 10kHz of its tuned frequency even with the Digital Synthesis System (DSS) and PLL disabled.
Performance Result: Low Noise, Clean Audio
The extreme stability of the VCO means the PLL only needs to provide a minimal frequency correction (less than 300Hz).
• Benefit 1: Low Noise Audio. Minimal PLL effort translates directly to a cleaner, low noise audio signal.
• Benefit 2: Pristine Low-Frequency Response. A super slow low-frequency loop filter cleans the PLL correction, ensuring the crucial low-frequency audio at 30Hz passes through the varicap completely unaffected. This results in the cleanest low-frequency audio response essential for high-performance processing.

The transmitter will work with any 50 ohm antenna rated at 2000W or higher. The following antennas when used with this 2kW transmitter will radiate (EIRP) the approximate power shown.
• Vertical 5/8 Wave 5kW EIRP Our 25kW EIRP system
includes this transmitter packaged in with coaxial cable and a suitable antenna system. These full systems are engineered to comply with the EU standards and regulations for licensed broadcasting and most other countries regulations in the world. The 2kW transmitter package uses two large amplifiers enclosures which spread the waste heat over a larger area. Spreading the heat this way improves long term reliability over compact type models simply because there are no concentrated hot spots which always lead to faster failure. This generally doubles the lifetime reliability over the equivalent compact type model. In addition to this there is active temperature monitoring which in worse case scenario will reduce the power automatically to protect the unit if the ambient temperature is extreme at over +40C.
The final output section of the 2kW transmitter is two RF amplifiers using two BLF188XR, the XR means 'eXtremely Rugged' These LDMOS RF power transistors are designed for the most challenging engineering environments and withstand severe load mismatches at VSWRs greater than 65:1 at 5 dB of compression. Two BLF188XR's can actually provide a combined CW output of 3200 W whilst still passing extreme ruggedness testing. For ultra reliability we just keep the output at 2kW total maximum. It can be set at lower power levels, right down to 20W if required.
The complete assembly is made up of two 3U enclosures and one 2U enclosure in strong 16-gauge steel, powder coated and baked in satin black. This is military grade strength, not flimsy thin paneling that eastern countries make. The whole thing tough with a durable surface that will never rust and will shine for years. The front panels are 19 inches so they will fit with ease into a standard rack. For users with a technical understanding of broadcast radio specifications and parameters, the FM transmitter offers direct, manual control over key operational settings. You can easily set both the operating frequency and the FM deviation yourself. This process is designed to be straightforward and quick: For complete instructions, broadcast specifications, and detailed guidance on setting the DIP switches, please consult the User Manual below. The stereo version with audio processing and limiting meets all the regulatory standards required out of the box and pre configured. In fact if you send us a copy of your permit and it's conditions, we will set it up exactly to the specification. This equipment complies with EU/CE harmonised standards and FCC technical requirements for FM broadcasting. More information HERE All stated measurements were made at 220VAC at 27 Deg.
