FM Broadcast Amplifiers: 10W to 1kW RF Power
An FM broadcast amplifier is an RF power amplifier designed for the 87.5-108 MHz FM broadcast band. It increases the RF output from an FM exciter or low-power transmitter to the power required by the antenna system.
AAREFF manufactures professional FM power amplifiers from 10W to 1kW, with standard models typically designed for approximately 1W of RF drive. Models are available for fixed broadcast installations, remote sites, mobile systems and multi-kilowatt combined transmitter systems.

AAREFF FM broadcast amplifiers are designed to increase the RF output from an FM exciter or low-power transmitter to the power required by the antenna system. The range covers 10W to 1kW, using MOSFET or LDMOS RF technology selected for each power class.

Automatic power fold-back protects the RF output stage when the antenna or feeder presents a high VSWR or load mismatch, helping prevent amplifier damage and maintain transmitter uptime.
