• 87 to 108MHz Operation Because this antenna uses a direct connection to the stainless steel radiating rod—with zero tuning coils or capacitors to burn out—it can reliably handle up to 300W. The only limiting factor for power is the RG58 A/U cable itself. ✓ Pure Power Transfer: ✓ High-Power Deployment Protocol: Need help planning a safe, high-power temporary setup? 300W Power Handling & RF Safety
No delicate internal tuning components means maximum durability and efficiency under high-power loads.
When pushing maximum power (such as with our 250W transmitter), RF safety is critical. Mount the antenna on a tall commercial vehicle or ensure a strict 30-meter exclusion zone to protect the public from RF exposure.
Tested and proven in the field—from high-speed mobile live commentary in the UAE to temporary setups for regional stations—this magnetic mount antenna provides immediate broadcasting capabilities when you need them most.
Rapid Emergency Deployment: Crucial for disaster mitigation or maintaining broadcast continuity when a main tower is offline. Simply place the heavy-duty magnetic base on the center of a vehicle roof, connect any Aareff transmitter (100mW to 250W), and instantly restore your broadcast from the highest available elevation.
While the true gain of portable 1/4 wave antennas can be notoriously hard to measure, our advanced RF modeling and real-world field tests confirm a reliable +1dBi to +2dBi directed at the horizon.
✓ Optimized for Listeners:
We focus your signal outward along the ground, rather than wasting energy on upward-pointing sky lobes.

The antenna comes in: The magnetic base and 5 meters of cable with the PL259/N male connector are all one piece, and then there are eight tuning rods. The long one covers the frequency range of 87 to 98 MHz, and the short one covers the frequency range of 98 to 108 MHz. We label them accordingly so you can't mix them up.
8 tuning rods
This is the easy part. Just put the 13cm dia. magnetic base in the middle of the the vehicle roof. Pick the stainless steel rod for your frequency. The silver coloured part on the magnetic base has a little screw on the side. Using a small electrical screwdriver loosen the screw, then drop the frequency rod you have picked into the hole, make sure it goes right to the bottom. Then tighten up the small screw which will secure the rod in place.

With eight separate stainless steel rods we are able to cover the entire band form 88 to 108 with an SWR of 1.5 or less. It's important that magnetic base is put in the centre of the vehicle roof and not at one side. In the centre it approximates close to 1/4 wave ground plane. It will work if it is off to one side of the roof, but there will be a slight rise in SWR and reflected power.
