The amplifier can produce 800 watts of extremely stable RF from only 1 watt of drive power making it perfect for our 1W transmitter driver / exciter. The internal 800 watt amplifier blocks will operate with ease at full power 24 hours a day non stop in any country and with any AC voltage in the world. The front panel of this tarsnmitter has a neat little meter panel lit up with intense blue LED's to indicate forward and reflected power. The RF output power of the amplifier automatically folds back to a safe level when there is fault condition with the antenna giving a poor SWR or return loss. When the fault clears the amplifier restores to full power.
On delivery the equipment is ready to plug in and use with any suitable 50 ohm antenna system such as our Vertical 5/8 Wave, Single Dipole, 4 Way Stacked Dipole, 8 Way Stacked Dipole or Circular/Mixed antennas.
Our 2000W ERP, 4000W ERP and 8000W ERP packages include this amplifier complete with antennas and cables ready to go. All are full systems that comply with the regulations of the European Union and most other countries in the world.
Unlike other power amps on the market, this unit is complete, tested and ready to use on delivery. The internal power supply accepts 90 to 260V AC making it suitable for use in all countries of the world. Just hook up the power amp to your antenna, transmitter drive and mains power supply. Never take off the lid, no tuning needed, no test equipment required. This unit is truly plug and play. It is suitable for use with all our 1W drivers and possibly other manufacturers 1W transmitter drivers, you would need to check this with us.
The circuit design is over engineered using the NXP BLF188XR Mosfe 1KW device, this ensures extremely reliable safe operating levels for the power amp. Careful design of the RF output stage matching provides very efficient DC to RF conversion allowing the amp to run very cool in the worlds hottest climates 24 hours a day, every day, every year.
This is actually a 1KW amplifier, but we back it off to 800W to ensure super reliability. The 800W produced will operate with ease at full power 24 hours a day non stop in any country and with any AC voltage in the world. The amplifier has a neat little meter on the front panel lit up with intense blue LED's to indicate forward and reflected power. The amplifier is fully protected from bad SWR and return loss of any level for any duration of time.
All our models comply with European standards ETS 300384 for R&TTE, EN 301 489-11 for EMC and (LVD) 2006/95/EC for safety, the relevant FCC sections of US 47 CFR Part 73 for verification and ITU-R BS.450-3 (11/01) FM Broadcasting at VHF.
