This driver / exciter was specifically designed to provide four independent 1 watt outputs to drive the amplifiers in
the 400W ERP System or the 1600W ERP System
The driver incorporates the crystal stereo coder (Version 3), the PLL5 drive and a highly stable No-Tune™ variable power amp split 4
ways by resistive attenuator to give a stable equally phased 1 watt on each output.
By adjusting a small pre-set control inside the unit the RF power output level can be set anywhere from nearly zero to 1W on
each output. Any frequency between 87.5 to 108 MHz can be accurately programmed on the internal dip switches and easily tuned
up in less than 5 mins. Pre-emphasis time constants of 50uS, 75uS (USA) or none are easy to select on the Internal jumpers.
Expensive test equipment is NOT required, set up is a simple task using the LED's on the front panel. The driver / exciter is shipped with
a 90 to 260V AC power supply making it compatible for use with mains power in most places of the world.
This unit is designed with high reliability in mind and comes with a full two year guarantee and our reputation of high
reliability. On delivery the equipment is ready to plug in and use.
